Bayview offers the convenience, amenities and safety of a retirement community combined with the freedom of living in one’s own home. Our goal is to help residents remain independent and active as long as possible, while offering a range of services and support to meet the challenges and joy of senior living.
Bayview was founded in 1961 to care for the elderly residents of Seattle’s Queen Anne neighborhood and beyond. Early Seattleite Charles A. Kinnear bequeathed his family’s historic property to the First United Methodist Church for the care of older adults or children. The Methodist Church worked with the community to create a ten-story residential facility, which was augmented in 1995 by a WellnessCenter, Rehabilitation and Health Center, and Intergenerational Childcare Center.
Today, Bayview Retirement Community, Seattle, Washington is an independent not-for-profit organization, managed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. It maintains its affiliation with the Methodist Church, while embracing residents from many different faith traditions.Get Free Info from Senior Living Communities Website: http://www.bayviewcommunity.org
